About us
The local HVAC contractor Cameron Park trusts
Kimber Heat & Air is a licensed, insured heating and cooling contractor serving Cameron Park and the El Dorado County foothills. We built this company on a simple idea: do honest work, charge fair prices, and treat every home like it's our own. That's how we've earned a 5.0-star rating and a reputation for being the contractor who actually picks up the phone.
Our story
Built on honesty, one home at a time
Kimber Heat & Air started with Jim — a technician who was tired of watching homeowners get upsold, confused, and talked down to by the big HVAC companies. So he built something different: a shop where the owner answers the phone, diagnoses the real problem, and lays out honest options.
We're based right here in Cameron Park, and we know the foothills — the hot, dry summers that stress an AC, the cold, clear nights that test a furnace, and the older homes that need a system sized to the way they're actually built. We size every install with a real load calculation, repair what's actually broken, and price every job up front.
When you call Kimber Heat & Air, you talk to Jim. When we show up, we show up on time. And when the work is done, we leave your home cleaner than we found it — backed by up to a 10-year parts and labor warranty on qualifying installations. That's the standard, every time.
